FoxRock Properties of Quincy, owners and developers of Longwater Place, decided to gut renovate a portion of this development in 2015 – adding an amenity package including a cafe (operated by Sebastian’s) a common lounge and dining area – and a flagship venture by the YMCA called “ZoneWellness”, a fitness center and wellness program tailored to individual clients. Ceilings were removed to expose existing steel overhead to provide a loft-like contemporary industrial feel. The on-site services provide tenants at the development with healthy lifestyle options without leaving the campus. Helicon provided pre-design programming, development documents for feasibility, construction documents, interior design, furnishings and a graphics package.
