Helicon Design Group Inc. joint ventured with Michael Strahm Architect’s Inc. for the three years it took to completely gut and renovate 200,000 of the historic Laminated and Coated Plastics Mill in Newton. The 400′ long, but slender mill building was redeveloped into exposed brick and timber office space. Industrial forms were used for new lobbies, vestibules, light fixtures, etc. for all the new amenities of the building to recall it’s productive past. Helicon and MSA provided over 100,000 SF of tenant planning and interiors.
