Principal Eric Gould opened Helicon Design Group Inc., in 1991. He has directed custom project types of all kinds, including corporate interiors, private residences, retail interiors, industrial renovations — even public art and theater projects. A former design studio professor, Eric brings a unique, interdisciplinary expertise and often finds solutions inspired outside of the expected boundaries. The results are innovative places in which to live and work.
Eric is a 40-year resident of New England and a veteran of two signature Boston firms. He has been adjunct faculty at Wentworth Institute of Technology and The Boston Architectural Center, as well as a frequent guest critic to regional architecture schools. He is a prior recipient of the Design and Built Environment Fellowship Award from the Massachusetts Cultural Council, has been awarded an NEA Art in Public Places Grant and other design research grants.
